I threw a party for my birthday not long ago, and on the cover you can see me eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first guests. The idea was to compile music for that first hour at a party - or any kind of festive gathering. There’s a lot of considerations to be taken. It’s basically background music for conversing, but it needs to be fun and hold a semi-danceable beat - although no one’s gonna dance just yet. If you don’t have a party planned sometime in the near future, pour yourself a drink, play this - and pretend. That’s the magic of music -Moahaha
-For the four of you that downloaded the mix shortly after I posted it: I had to take down and re-upload everything, as there was a strange "skip-issue" with song no. 4 (White Salt) - now replaced with Sahara

DeleteAwesome, and you're welcome:)
DeleteHappy belated birthday -- hope you had a good one! Thanks for the party-mix
ReplyDeleteThank you MrDave - it was spectacular:). I hope you'll enjoy the mix!
DeleteMy dear friend Mohaha, I want to wish you many belated congratulations on your birthday, I hope it will be one of many more in the future; in this regard, I celebrated mine at the end of August, and in the luxurious fancy reception I offered to my friends and colleagues from the lab I used as an incidental soundtrack some Dream Weapons compilations, which was a total success, in fact today you must have some more followers who were amazed and impressed with the material you offer on this site (actually, and although I have been following this blog since before its beginnings, when Holy Warbles existed, I still cannot imagine what or where the source is from which this knowledge emanates, even for old school soulseek users like me, who thought that there was the absolute truth).
ReplyDeleteA big hug from so far away, and thanks again for sharing the passion for music in all its expressions.

Hello dear old friend and a belated happy birthday to you too:) We might just have celebrated the same day (30th) then. I'm honored that you used various Dream Weapons-compilations as basis for your incidental music at your party - and happy to hear that it was such a success! This whole comment from you truly brightened my morning. So thank you and a great big hug back:) -Moahaha
