Although you can't tell by listening to my mixtapes shared here so far, I've always loved heavy, hypnotic riffs and pounding
percussion - but it seems every kraut-or spacerock obscurity of the
golden era is already dug up, ressurected and compiled to death.
Which is why it was more inspirational to present some fuzzed &
far out cosmic rock from the last couple of decades instead. A lot
more fun for you and me both. Sixteen more or less contemporary bands
mostly (but not all) sounding much like they're some long lost and overlooked 70's discovery - but why
hold that against them as long as the ideas and tunes are groovy
and fresh?
