Dream Weapons present: SECTOR UNIT C60

If you fuse the future utopian concept of (Kraftwerk’s) Computer World with the subterranean dystopia of Mark of the Mole (by The Residents) and add to that a Kafkaesque bureaucratic nightmare - you’ll find yourself somewhere in the neighbourhood of Sector Unit. There’s literally tons of reasons I’d rather have my not all bright, not totally bleak distant future as seen from the early 1980’s - instead of the future we got. The matching analogue electronic score being one of them - Moahaha

1 Danielle Kenny - Alarm Clock
2 Lamartine - Skylab
3 96 Eyes - Chromata
4 Tibet & Australië  - Tibet 2
5 Tomita - M3 (Main Title)
6 Ptôse - Like a Mouse
7 Rodion G.A. - Elastic
8 Al Mati - A Day Will Rise
9 Colin Potter - The Lope 1
10 Catfish - Sahara

11 Sympathy Nervous - Naniga
12 Belbury Poly  - Lord Belbury's Folly
13 Alu - Big Fon
14 Sociedades en Tetra Brik - Niño Organo
15 Renaldo & The Loaf - City Rhythm

    1. Haha I think that's Sector Unit opening scene: Our protagonist Alex gets redirected throughout Kafka International Airport... we follow him in amongst a crowd of mechanically moving men in grey suits, busy flight attendants and armed guards - all wearing face masks in the middle of a pandemic...

-Anyway I miss traveling (like most I imagine) and a little envious, although I'm guessing its more about business than pleasure

  3. What, you don't want to be biometrically linked to blockchain to have your behavior tracked, and assimilated into the AI without your consent thereby essentially forfeiting your free will? C'mon... everybody's doing it.

    1. -I obviously wouldn't want to miss out on all that fun, but I'd rather forfeit my free will to the sound of minimoogs, ARP Odessey, Korg VC-10, EMS VCS3 etc...

  5. So chilly! Perfect listening as the cold war-ish news broke that British truckdrivers had their ham sandwiches confiscated at the Dutch border. An alternative timeline where it's always been called "*The* Brexit". Do you have papers for that scotch egg, sir?

    1. Happy to provide for the perfect chilly listening to these cold war-ish events, Mr Cole. I guess I was lucky with the timing for this share - but then again I suppose next week or last month would also felt like perfect timing.

    1. Cool thanks - glad you enjoyed it! The Tomita-tune is taken from the movie "Goyokiba - Razor Hanzou's Hell Sentence". I got the track from this CD: http://www.godzillamonstermusic.com/KICA3032.htm
