Dream Weapons present: POLLINATION C90 by Crazy Monkey

Crazy Monkey, whom I collaborated with on Gatto Nero Di Notte, has compiled a guest mix, and it’s a lovely one.

Btw: For something like three or four years by now, every second and fourth Wedensday (at 07:00 pm, local time) each month, we have a 90 minute spot on Radio AlHara. Today Pollination fills those ninety minutes. Our compilations are a nice fit, and it's a great thing to be a part of. I just occurred to me that I should remember to mention it every once in a while.

About the mix in CM's own poetic words:

For us, inhabitants of the far south, the end of the cold season marks a very important time of year, turning the silvery stained skies into a glowing intense blue, and with that, life reappears proud of its incomparable beauty. This compilation was born to honor this eternal cycle, and thus accompany the emergence of the new living beings that adorn our surroundings, reciting to us the eternal verses of nature.

As a scientist but also as a conscious human, observing and caring for nature has been a part of my life since early childhood, and that's what I want to capture in this selection of sounds to share with those who also feel that a whisper from the forest or a gentle caress from the ocean are things worth highlighting -Crazy Monkey

Dream Weapons present: COLD COMFORT C90

Happy New Year everyone! I certainly hope that this will be a happy, new, year. Now a few vague words as to what to expect from Cold Comfort:

-The chilling warmth or warming chills of hauntingly beautiful music and voices. Suitable for January here up north. About 50/50 songs and instrumentals. A mood piece of spellbinding Folk, traditional and Modern Classical (all chamber music, really), Art Pop and other neighboring sounds that seem related. Simultaneously celestial and earthy somehow I think. I’m not certain whether it’s good or bad, but this mix feels very much like where I’m at these days. I like it here though -Moahaha
